    My wife, parents, and I drove from Presque Isle River Recreation Area over to Lake of the Clouds (about 33 miles/45 minutes). There is a short 300 foot or so walkway from the parking lot to the viewing platform of the lake. We didn't hike the strenuous trail down to the lake. Likely a very pretty location when the leaves change color in the Fall.
