Lancing Ring is a popular site for dog walkers, picnics, birdwatching and foraging. The site also lends itself to landscape photography with stunning panoramic views across Adur Valley and the south coast , from Brighton in the east and towards the Isle of Wight in the west.

Lancing Ring is a 23.5-hectare nature reserve, to the north of Lancing and within the South Downs National Park. It’s named after a ring of beeches planted in the late 18 th century and inspired by the nearby Cissbury Ring.
