Founded in 1978 by Master Falconer and Veterinary Technician John Karger, Last Chance Forever is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey, scientific investigation, and also just as importantly, the education of the public.
Last Chance Forever is led by its founder and Executive Director, John A. Karger. Our staff includes 5 full-time and part-time employees engaged in daily rehabilitation, educational, and administrative work.

I got interested in birds of prey when I was about nine years of age because there was a man in my neighborhood who was a falconer.
