The Broad was founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, the museum offers free general admission and presents an active program of rotating temporary exhibitions and innovative audience engagement.
Parking is available directly beneath The Broad in the museum's parking garage. Enter on 2nd St. between Hope St. and Grand Ave. The garage is open 9 am–10 pm from Tuesday–Sunday. Parking Garage Rates: Additional parking is available at other adjacent garages and lots around Grand Avenue.
The Broad (/ b r oʊ d /) is a contemporary art museum on Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. The museum is named for philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad, who financed the $140 million building that houses the Broad art collections. It offers free general admission to its permanent collection galleries.
