Since 2016 the program has continued to grow throughout the state. As of 2023 FARMacy WV is located at 30 locations in 24 counties. These locations include hospitals, clinics, and private doctors’ practices. We have recruited and supported West Virginia farmers, growers, and aggregators to provide produce for the program.

Jun 21, 2019 · While Steve Novotney hosted the event, United Way’s Jessica Rine co-hosted and contestants from Cook-Off #2 served as judges: chefs Gene Evans, Chef Rocco and Mike Travis. Each competing chef prepared an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert during the two-hour show that featured a small studio audience.
Evans was born in Holbrook, Arizona and raised in Colton, California. Right after finishing high school, he began performing in summer stock at the Penthouse Theatre in Altadena, California. [1] Evans served in the United States Army during World War II and achieved the rank of sergeant. [2] He performed with a theatrical troupe of GIs in Europe.
