    • Carroll County Farm Museum. A special landmark in the south of Westminster is the former Carroll County Almshouse, raised in 1852 and the centerpiece of an historic complex of 15 buildings.
    • The Union Mills Homestead. Home to the Shriver family for six generations, this ensemble of historic buildings a little way north of Westminster dates back to 1797 and is a U.S. Historic District.
