"The World At War" is one of the best World War II Documentaries ever made, with one of the best ‘overviews’ of each segment of the war. Sometimes taking a few months of time and going through all the action on every front and back home too, while at other times giving an in depth history of a particular area as needed, such as a entire episode explaining in full the Siege of Stalingrad.
