Jamie Lee Curtis. Jeanette Helen Morrison (July 6, 1927 – October 3, 2004), known professionally as Janet Leigh, was an American actress, singer, dancer, and author. She is best known for her role in Psycho, for which she won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
