Synopsis. In 1878 in the Montana Territory, gunfighter Colton Briggs is a member of an extrajudicial posse organized to arrest and hang the brother of Walter McAllister, a notorious bandit. Walter and his men try to foil the public execution, resulting in a shootout that leaves Colton and McAllister's son, James, as the only survivors.

This movie is terrible, it's like every other classic Western movie and extremely unrealistic. There is lots of shooting and some sad moments.
Jan 14, 2023 · Jimmy reminds Briggs of their shared past and challenges him to a duel — the old way. Eventually, Briggs kills Eustace, and Jimmy shoots Briggs, wounding him fatally, but Brooke kills Jimmy with the gun her father was carrying. In one of the final scenes of the movie, Briggs dies in his daughter’s arms.

7/10. Solid western in a modern style. fung0 6 February 2023. This is both a typical Nick Cage move and a solid Western. It's an unlikely combo, but welcome nonetheless. The plot is traditional: one act of violence leads to another, until our protagonists are led into a search for vengeance.
