The Girl Who Was Taken didn't initially capture my eye, mainly because the title sounds like akin to any run of the mill thriller. Within the first few pages, I could tell this was going to be an interesting book. The writing was excellent, the character development was just right, and there were plenty of twists to keep me turning the pages.
