This Museum has closed permanently when the city had to close the building due to structural problems. All aircraft have been removed to other cities and the museum is no longer in operation. Aug 30, 2018 · Went to the Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum on my way home from a half-marathon race and saw the signs off the road. As a pilot, I had to go and explore this aviation museum. With many different variety of aircraft and historian information, this place is excellent.
