Update the contact number on your account online under "Profile" to a phone number that a friend or family member will let you use for the purpose of signing into the account and making the home computer a Trusted Sign-In location.
Mar 22, 2023 · They still show up on the AT&T account but there isn’t any DirectTv information or access to the bill or amount due. In an email from Direct Tv (see below) they suggested resetting my receiver… of course that didn’t make any difference. Sep 19, 2022 · As I recall, the $5 phone transaction fee was waived when paying off a canceled account if you weren't setup for auto pay. Call the DirecTV number (not AT&T) back and when you get the voice system say payment. Hopefully even with a canceled account you can just pay that way and be done, but if not I would request waiver of the $5 for clearing ...

Jul 2, 2023 · As the payment went through, did not post to your account, and has been at least 3 business days since it posted, it is possible it misapplied to the wrong account. So get the form submitted to resolve it as soon as possible. Because of checks being entered, or reliability of the mail, this is why that payment method is discouraged these days.
