The logo's theme a version of Fairy Tale from Shrek is the "When You Wish Upon A Star" for DreamWorks Animation SKG in the tradition of Walt Disney Pictures using "When You Wish Upon A Star" as their theme and Warner Bros. Pictures using "As Time Goes By" from Casablanca as their theme since 1999.

Trolls (2016): The logo's music is sung in acapella by a group of trolls. It also animates in warp-speed. Before the line and "Animation SKG" fade in, a dark blue patch with stars fills the screen. It pops out, made like a scrapbook (One of Poppy's favorite hobbies).
This logo first debuted with and was used on the trailers for Antz (1998). DreamWorks Animation SKG did not use an on-screen logo until 2004. War of the Worlds (2005): The logo's original 16:9 aspect ratio is slightly zoomed out, and even has black bars at the top and bottom. Only seen on 35mm "open-matte" film scan prints.
