The Swedish Wikipedia appears to have made an early start (in July 2006) creating a wikiproject designed to reduce the gender gap, no doubt based on the English WikiProject Gender studies.

OK with history. You analyze it. But what about ethnology (in the lead you say: "The Maniots are deemed an ancient Greek people who descend from the Lacedaemonians (Spartans). [dubious — see talk page]"), culture and folklore of Maniots. I'm afraid the article is becoming more of "History of Mani" or "History of Maniots".
To learn the most from the Cross-language Editing and Learning Exchange, it is important to work closely with your partner. To effectively help your partner learn a language, you should do more than just correct their writing mistakes (although you should do that).
