I'll venture a few guesses; - A theater is bigger than your living room which gives a ton more space for the sound to "breathe" which gives it scale and allows details to be exposed better. - The system was calibrated for that room by sound engineers. - The room is treated professionally.
The guy owns a Chevy who's interior has been done in alligator and crocodile skin, which is pricy. Think alligator boots for example. He also has many TVs in the dash and headrest and a great sound system to go with it, not unlike a movie theater has.
