Jun 24, 2015 · Born in Virginia, Hampton Yount began writing comedy when he created a comic strip, "Rob & Elliot" with his brother, Clay, in 2004. Yount dropped out of college to pursue comedy after performing his third stand-up set in Blacksburg, and took the opportunity to move back home, closer to the more vibrant Washington, D.C. comedy scene.
