I’m Mark Grantham, and I love pushing the boundary between representational and abstract art. Manipulating recognizable subject matter to a point where it almost becomes abstract is a process that is not only satisfying for me, but I believe engages the viewer in a way that a hyper-realistic painting doesn’t.
