The Infiltrator is a competent crime drama evocative of several recent—and better—films of its kind, Argo and Black Mass, especially. But while director Brad Furman's ( The Lincoln Lawyer ) latest isn't as refined as those two, it makes up for its occasional lapses thanks in large part to its stellar cast led by Bryan Cranston.
