Sep 15, 2015 · And as far as the series of "slasher" flicks goes, to me, Halloween outshines the others (Friday the 13th, Freddy, Hellraiser). Where those really got cheesy with comedy, kills, and just over all bad production, I've loved Halloween for at least trying to stay more on a serious note (Halloween: Resurrection really ends after the 1st 20 minutes.
