LaoScript 8 supports entry and editing of Lao text for either Unicode or non-Unicode ( Saysettha Lao coded) fonts, using either either the standard (modified Lao typewriter) keyboard layout, or an easy to learn and type romanized-entry keying sequence. In normal use, invisible break codes will be automatically inserted between words to support Lao text wrapping.
As well as the User Settings, LaoScript 8 lets advanced users configure a number of other properties, by using the More settings... button in the User Settings... dialog:
