Feb 1, 2024 · The visitor centre has a shop and a small museum as well as a dining/picnic room and toilets. The castle used to have a small car park close by, owned by the local council. Sadly the council have recently sold the car park to a private company, Excel Parking. Parking here is not expensive - a pound buys two hours (Sept 2019).
