Bangkok Dangerous is that rare remake which is helmed by the original directors, the Pang brothers (The Eye). Apparently it takes little from its predecessor, save for one of the main characters being deaf. I knew beforehand that this had a rotten reputation, but I ultimately thought it was somewhat serviceable as far as Nicolas Cage actioners go.
