Mar 21, 2019 · Lakes been a bit clearer than normal for this time of year. Hopefully last nights rain will cloud it a bit. Finally starting to see wildlife officers patrolling. There's been alot of >9.9 action on the lake the last few years. Saw a bb at roadbed. 1.25 mile from marina, holding position with tm nearly all day in wind.
Piedmont Lake was a pleasant surprise for a day trip. It is a very quiet 2300 acre lake that sits down in wooded rolling hills. It has a lot of bays and some marsh at the end of the bays. The Ohio DCNR only allows max of 10hp engines on boats and we only seen a few fisherman out with those and most of the time they were at anchor fishing.
