They were decent. Seinen manga tend to not get adaptations as easily in comparison to shonen manga. It's likely because shonen manga tend to have broader appeal in general. Not to say that 20th Century Boys wasn't popular, but maybe studios didn't want to take a risk adapting it into a series.
