This ability does not give your mount extra speed, but it will allow you to use your existing Expert Riding or Artisan Riding skills. Druids will also need to learn to use Flight Form or Swift Flight Form as well.

Cold Weather Flying grants the ability to use a flying mount (epic or non-epic) or Druid flight form in Northrend, if you know at least Expert Riding or Flight Form. It can be trained at level 77 from the Cold Weather Flying trainers in Northrend for 1,000.
