Jun 8, 2014 · This humble gravesite is now the biggest religious draw in Switzerland. The St. Pierre Cathedral stands at the heart of Geneva’s Old Town not too far from the Hotel de Ville. It is open October through May from 10:00am-5:00pm and June through September from 9:30am-6:30pm (opening time on Sundays is at noon). There is no charge for admission.

The locale of the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Geneva has been the site of a cathedral and the seat of a bishop since the 4th century. The present cathedral was the work of the Prince-Bishop of the diocese, Arducius de Faucigny, in 1160. It was begun in the Gothic style, and there have been some changes since then.
