Dr. Who wants to use the big ape to dig out Element X - an ore that a thousand times more powerful than any nuclear weapon. He wants to sell the ore to any country who is willing to pay the amount he's asking. The mad doctor travels to Mondo and succeeds in capturing Kong and hypnotizes the big ape to begin digging out the radioactive ore.
