Operation Enduring Freedom involves troops from over 20 nations, including about 19,000 U.S. forces and about 3,100 non-U.S. troops.
On October 7, 2001, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM began with coalition aircraft, including USAF B-1 and B-52 bombers, performing night strikes against 31 targets.
