Plus he produced Antichrist Superstar which is Marilyn Manson's magnum opus in my opinion. The book is mostly made up or exaggerated stuff designed primarily to shock. It mainly involves the band doing some really awful stuff that they probably didn't do in real life, and the bit involving Trent almost certainly didn't happen either.

But NIN's involvement in Antichrist Superstar arguably made it loads better, or at the very least gave focus to it. I wonder how Mechanical Animals might have gone had Trent and Manson not split before it. Reznor and crew might have supplied some interesting synth and computer effects to it, but I guess thats all in the past now.
