This 'A Christmas Carol' though was a major disappointment, and the second worst adaptation after the 2001 animated film with Simon Callow and Kate Winslet (which include classics such as Alastair Sim, George C. Scott and the Muppets, Sim's being the best version in my view) by quite some way.
