Apr 3, 2024 · The Sons of the Pioneers were formed in 1933 by three singers from Los Angeles: Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan, and Tim Spencer. The original trio went on to include Hugh Farr on the fiddle, his brother Karl on the guitar, and Lloyd Perryman as a lead vocalist. Lloyd Perryman later became the band’s manager, leading the group to international success.
