Chapel Hill, NC– University of North Carolina System Interim President Bill Roper has named Brian Cole as the ninth chancellor of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). Cole joined UNCSA in 2016 as dean of the School of Music and has served as interim chancellor since August 2019.

Jun 15, 2023 · Housing Policy. The University of North Carolina School of the Arts Board of Trustees enacted the following policy regarding room and meal plan for students. All full-time students must reside in housing provided by the School and participate in a meal plan as outlined below unless they are members of one of the following groups:

UNCSA students typically come from two-thirds of North Carolina’s 100 counties; the other half comes from more than 45 other states, territories and the District of Columbia, and nearly two dozen foreign countries.
