You can’t really do anything in offline mode. Online saves aren’t compatible and there isn’t any progression, challenge completion, etc. They're not lost. Offline mode saves and online mode saves are different. If you go offline again, all of your saves will be there. My internet went down and I played Hitman 3 in offline mode.

For whatever reason, Xbox has it where you can’t access anything offline despite the fact other platforms aren’t held to the same always online standard. The devs have never commented on it as far as I’m aware. Same issue here. Online searches AND the game (Hitman 3) itself claims you can play it offline but that's not the case.
