King Kong is a 2005 epic adventure monster film co-written, produced, and directed by Peter Jackson. It is the ninth entry in the King Kong franchise and the second remake of the 1933 film of the same title, the first being the 1976 remake. The film stars Naomi Watts, Jack Black, and Adrien Brody.

Dec 14, 2005 · In 1933 New York, an overly ambitious movie producer coerces his cast and hired ship crew to travel to mysterious Skull Island, where they encounter Kong, a giant ape who is immediately smitten with the leading lady.
The natives kidnap Ann and plan to use her as a sacrifice to the island's giant gorrila named King Kong. Carl decides to capture Kong and brings him back to New York City, but Kong escapes and is now out of control.
