That’s when 15% was acceptable, but now bartenders, hostess, & bussers are low paying as well, now 18% is acceptable. So, if you are not making 10% of your sales after tipping out 7-8% at the end of the night, you need to remember this “Anyone can be a server, not anybody can make money as a server!”.
