I agree with betterthanbings. Touring as you are, the Monterey/Carmel area is the better choice. HMB is only 26 miles from the city. While HMB is lovely, as is Seal Cove B&B, and this little town sure could use tourist' dollars with the closure of Hwy 1, you will have a much better opportunity to see more coastal variety in driving Hwy 1 until you get to the M/C area.
