Grimes, the Canadian singer-songwriter who produces most of her own music and performs with a keyboard, mixer, and some other equipment, is a hit. And I just don't see why. Her music sounds terrible, unprocessed, and kind of generic. From a technical standpoint, she sounds really bad. Her voice is okay, but it's heavily reverbed and muddy to me.
