Gibson is great as Thomas Craven, there’s moments in this film that are genuinely heavy and emotional. One scene in particular at the beginning of the final act is super heavy and Gibson’s performance sells it all. Overall, while it’s certainly no masterpiece, Edge of Darkness is a fun action thriller that won’t disappoint. 3.5/5
