Miklós Rózsa. Hungarian-born composer best known for his film scores. Born April 18, 1907, Budapest, Austro-Hungarian empire. Died July 27, 1995, Los Angeles, California, USA. Rózsa was a child prodigy and studied the violin from the age of five and went to Leipzig to study music at the Leipzig Conservatory with Hermann Grabner in 1926.
