Jan 20, 2010 · This is NOT the rock 'n' roll Foghat of the 70's and 80's. Their music took a different direction starting with "Tight Shoes" in 1979 (although different, I like "Tight Shoes"). "Boogie Motel" (another change of style but still an album that I liked) was the last album that lead guitarist Rod Price played on until 1994's "Return of the Boogie Men".

The entirely fan-funded effort was released in 2016 on the band's own Foghat Records imprint. After battling lung cancer for several years, bassist MacGregor died in February 2018 at the age of 68.
