William Leslie Johnson (born November 10, 1954) is an American university administrator, businessman, and former politician who has served as president of Youngstown State University since 2024. [1] Previously, he was the U.S. representative for Ohio's 6th congressional district from 2011 until 2024. He is a member of the Republican Party.
