The Cotton Club Redux Defense Force... engage! I was thirteen when I first saw The Cotton Club in the theater with my mom and my cousin Jerry. It was awesome. I loved it. But over the years I guess I forgot why. I certainly wouldn't have been able to verbalize or intellectualize it then. I recall discovering that the film was a commercial failure.
