Pick Your Date. Birthday party reservations are available on most Saturdays and Sundays at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. Some Sunday afternoon times are not available due to programming taking place in the party room. Availability is limited, so book soon. Dates and times not listed on the calendar are not available.

Museum Hours (April–May 2024) Open Wednesday–Sunday from 9 am–4 pm, regular admission price. Open with FREE admission from 4–8 pmon Thursdays. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Thursday, May 17, MCM closes to the public at noon for a special event. The museum will reopen as usual at 9 am, on Friday, May 18.
Madison Children’s Museum does not have attached parking. There are two parking ramps located within easy walking distance of the museum and several areas of on-street metered parking. Note: the nearby parking garages adjusted their rates in early 2024.
