May 29, 2012 · As for Coriolanus the loyal soldier, he fails this test, twice. His inability to understand the term loyalty and the demands of political power are the root issues of this movie. The audience is left to ponder just how heroic is the fierce warrior once the issue is more complex than war fighting. For me Coriolanus is a two person movie.
