Jan 5, 2012 · BASS GIBSON A TOP TEETH DAYLILY FROM 2003-2008, John Rice. Posted on January 5, 2012 by Mike. Prior to Bass Gibson’s release , John Rice offered the daylily with naming rights at a MWS. The daylily sold for $700.00 plus dollars to Donna Gibson. Donna named the daylily after her husband Bass.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting John and Annette Rice at Thoroughbred Daylilies. Their Daylilies were in oak bloom and it looked like heaven! Such knowledge people. Can't wait to visit...
Aug 12, 2015 · John Rice, horticulturist and daylily breeder, suggested that they take a look at Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region. They found their farm near Lawrenceburg and moved ten years ago. David and Mort brought more than a few suitcases. 15,000 pots and bags full of 3,000 more daylilies came, as well. So David and Mort are now our neighbors.
Apr 26, 2013 · Annette and John Rice are like family to me. Over the last 3 years my endless questions have been answered and the plants received have been wonderful. I look forward to seeing the latest intro's, but an older one will always have a place in the garden: Annette's Magic. It has a Chanel-like timeless quality that makes your heart smile.
