Prior to Bass Gibson’s release , John Rice offered the daylily with naming rights at a MWS. The daylily sold for $700.00 plus dollars to Donna Gibson. Donna named the daylily after her husband Bass.

David and Mort brought more than a few suitcases. 15,000 pots and bags full of 3,000 more daylilies came, as well. So David and Mort are now our neighbors.
