Interlake-Gimli. Interlake-Gimli ( French: Entre-les-Lacs–Gimli) is a provincial electoral district in the Interlake region of Manitoba . The riding was created by the 2018 provincial redistribution out of parts of Interlake, Gimli, Lakeside, and a small part of Swan River. The riding came into effect at the 2019 Manitoba general election.

Ashern is the hometown of the former NHL player Chuck Arnason, as well as actor Adam Beach. Ashern is about two hours north of Winnipeg. The (Grade 5-12) high school is the largest in the division. It also has an elementary school (Kindergarten-Grade 4), recently built daycare, and a hospital serving the region.

The Interlake Formation is a stratigraphical unit of Silurian age in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. It takes the name from the Interlake Region in Manitoba, and was first described in outcrop by A.D. Baillie in 1951.
