Having moved to Hollywood aged 28, Waxman’s oeuvre encompasses approximately 150 films, including Rebecca , Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde , The Bride of Frankenstein and Sunset Boulevard , and he eventually received two Academy Awards for his film work.
