City Hall is located in the heart of Oslo and is easily accessible by foot and public transportation. Bus stop: Rådhuset, takes you directly to City Hall.

City Hall is open to tourists and other visitors. Oslo City Hall is located in Rådhusplassen 1. Opening hours are every day from 09:00 to 16:00 (See exceptions below.) All visitors must pass through our security check to enter the City Hall. Queues may occur and some waiting time should be calculated.

Every year on December 10, the anniversary death of Alfred Nobel (1833-1896), the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded during a ceremony at the Oslo City Hall. For the rest of the year, this building, located in the center of downtown Oslo, Norway is open for touring, free of charge.
On the shores of the North Sea stands the famous Oslo City Hall, one of the capital's most iconic buildings. It's known for hosting the annual Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony, as well as for the murals and paintings inside.
