German Village & Brewery District. Just south of downtown Columbus lies German Village, one of the most idyllic neighborhoods in the country. Built by German settlers hundreds of years ago, the area is defined by its brick homes and shops, as well as brick-lined streets. Historic charm and modern tweaks exist side by side here.
German Village Tours is the only tour company based in German Village, and the only one owned and operated by residents of this charming, historic community. A standard tour is 60-to-90-minutes or they can create an adventure just for you. Shopping at the 32-room Book Loft which has also been a favorite location to wander for generations.
