Risé Sanders-Weir. Triton College adjunct instructor Risé Sanders-Weir won the Illinois Community College Trustees Association (ICCTA) Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award at their banquet on June 2 in Bloomington/Normal, Ill. There were 23 nominees from community colleges from around the state.
Risé Sanders-Weir. Sanders-Weir is a documentary producer, director and writer. She produced America to Me for Kartemquin Films, which premiered at Sundance. She has directed documentaries for PBS, History, National Geographic, CNBC, A&E, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, and others.

The U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, in partnership with the American Film Showcase, will host documentary filmmaker Risé Sanders-Weir, for a series of in-person workshops, screenings, and discussions about her Gadget Girls documentary film.
